Here's how I find some downtime at the weekend to relax and refresh my mind.
Having been to the gym for the fourth time, completed another 10K walk for 10K, seen friends, done my marketing, spoke to family, cooked and cleaned it was time for me.
I put my phone on silent, lit a candle, reclined on my sofa and started to listen to a meditation that I found on spotify, under ‘guided clearing meditation'. Those fifteen minutes took me out of the busy world and into my imagination where there was nothing to do apart from breathe and let go.
In letting go I started to feel a sense of emptying the thoughts, any stress and unwanted feelings that had piled up during the week, and it felt wonderful. This is exactly how I work with my clients in a hypnotherapy session, and they get the benefits of letting go too.
